After breakfast in your hotel, your journey continues to the majestic Sahara. You will depart to the Rose Valley, passing through the vast Skoura palm grove, a beautiful oasis boasting over 700,000 palms and numerous ancient kasbahs. In this valley, Damascene roses are cultivated for cosmetic use, such as the valued rosewater. We continue to Tinghir and then reach the dramatic Todra Gorges. The scenery here is spectacular, with towering 300m high red cliffs that attract rock climbers from around the world. After a short walk in the gorges, we continue our trip to Erfoud and Rissani, where we will have a stop for lunch. Finally, you will depart for the village of Merzouga. Here, prepare for an exhilarating camel ride during sunset into the high dunes of the Sahara. The day culminates with dinner and an overnight stay in a desert camp, under a blanket of stars.

After a quiet and memorable night in the dunes of Erg Chebbi, you will watch the sunrise over the dunes, a truly unforgettable experience. A typical breakfast will be served at the camp, and then you will depart for Rissani. You can explore the tourist area, including the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif and the palm grove. Lunch in Nkoub will refresh you before continuing your journey to Zagora, traversing the picturesque Draa Valley. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Zagora.

Our 8-day desert tour from Agadir continues as we leave Zagora, traveling through Agdez and the Draa Valley. Your journey follows the path next to the Draa River, one of the longest rivers in Morocco, offering stunning views of the green palm groves. Later on, we will make a stop for lunch. After lunch, we will continue to the ksar (fortified village) of Aït Ben Haddou, where we will visit the famous Kasbah (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). This spectacular stage has been the backdrop for many famous films, including Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, and Sahara with Penelope Cruz. This morning, after breakfast, we will depart for Marrakech, the “Red City” and one of Morocco’s most renowned Imperial cities. Our journey continues over the majestic High Atlas Mountains, passing through the scenic Tizi N’Tichka pass (2260 m in altitude). Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the process of producing Argan oil by Berber women in their cooperative, a unique insight into a precious Moroccan tradition. Upon arrival in Marrakech, you will check into your accommodation. You’ll have the afternoon to relax while exploring the main square, Jemaa el Fnaa, and the bustling souks.

After breakfast in the hotel, you will embark on a private guided tour of Marrakech Medina with an official guide. You will see the famous Mosque of Koutoubia, explore the Medina and its souks, and uncover some of Marrakech’s hidden secrets: the Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, the ancient Saadian tombs, the opulent Bahia Palace, and the serene Majorelle Gardens. In the afternoon, the best option is to explore the medina on your own, approaching the square that in the evening transforms into a lively spectacle filled with narrators, jugglers, diviners, snake charmers, and musicians. This morning, our driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech to begin your journey to Essaouira, a captivating coastal city located about 2.5 hours drive from Marrakech. On the way, you will have a short break to see the famous goats climbing on Argan trees and eating Argan seeds. You will also visit an Argan cooperative to learn how local women traditionally make Argan oil and discover the multi-uses of this precious oil. Afterward, we will reach Essaouira, where your driver will drop you off at your accommodation. You will then have free time to walk on your own and explore the simply beautiful places, such as ancient shops, narrow alleys, local markets, and craftsmen. You will also have enough time to visit the Skala and enjoy the sea view from above. After that, you can have lunch in a local restaurant and enjoy fresh seafood. Overnight in Essaouira.
